The General and the Guru

Before the worlds were named, there were two who stood apart from the rest.

Mangal was the General — red-blooded, quick to anger, quicker to act. He did not wait for permission. He did not measure twice. He moved through the heavens like a blade drawn in defense of something sacred, and where he went, courage followed like a shadow.

Guru was the Teacher — vast, golden, patient as mountains. He did not rush. He did not need to. Wisdom does not run; it simply arrives, and when it arrives, it changes everything it touches.

They should have been strangers. Fire and expansion. Sword and scripture. But the old texts say otherwise — that between the General and the Guru there has always been a bond of Mitra, of true friendship, unshakeable and unspoken.

Because courage without wisdom becomes recklessness. And wisdom without courage becomes only theory, never testimony.

So Mangal lends Guru his spine — the will to act on what is known to be true. And Guru lends Mangal his sight — the discernment to know which battles are worth the blood.

Together they are the warrior-sage: the one who moves boldly because he has thought it through, and thinks it through without losing his nerve.
